From Tena, myself, Tom, Liam, Masch, Flo and Anna were driven by Eddison and Rolando (our host Delphin's 2 lads) to their pad in the Amazon. Having met the extended family,familiarised ourselves with the rather impressive (given our location) but basic facilities, and doused ourselves in Deet the lads took us on a walk through the jungle to a view point of the river, on route pointing out interesting plants and bugs, clambering up trees, wowing us with the culina...

Having arrived early evening we congregated on the roof terrace of our hotel, signed up for a bridge swing (why???) and rafting the next day, and were treated to an unexpected Carnival fireworks display from the main square. After dinner and a couple of beers with Tom, Clair, Ang and Mash I retired to prepare for the next days excitement. After a restless night myself, Flo and Anna set off bright and early (minus breakfast for obvious reasons) for our bridge swin...

What's going on in Quenca??? Well apparently soaking gringo's with water bombs and pistols, thats what! Visited the Panama hat shop with Tom and Flo, stomped about town for a few hours, then had a cracking pizza for dinner after Liam got soaked by a drive by bombing on route to the restaurant, post dinner Cocktails on route home, Amazing breakfast in the Kookaburra cafe before jumping bus to Banos.
