Arrived into Miami about 7.45pm. On the way to collect my bag I spotted Lesley!! It was so fab to see her after all these years. We headed to the car, took us about 20 minutes to get to hers. Its a gorgeous place she has and she couldnt have made me feel anymore welcome!! She has even got me a wee phone incase I need to call her, bless her!!! Her husband Xavier is away working at the mo so we have a few days just the two of us. We spent my first night catching up over a few drinkies then my first day Lesley was my tour guide and took me around to show me the sites.

We headed through Coral Gables where Lesley used to live then onto Coconut Grove where we had lunch at a lovely restaurant next to the harbour, there was loads of gorgeous boats. We then headed to Bayside which was a lovely place. There was a gorgeous harbour and loads of nice shops and stalls. We browsed for a bit then headed to the famous South Beach where we had a walk along the beach and admired the views. It was a fab wee place, actually a bit like being in an upper market Spanish resort with its palm trees and hundreds of cafes and restaurants along the front. Lesley showed me where Versace lived and where he was killed. We then headed to a huge mall near where Lesley stayed and that night we spent the night in front of the TV watching Peter Kay on DVD. Lesley made me a lovely dinner and we enjoyed a few vinos!!!

I think San Francisco's gorgeous weather has caught up with me as I am chocked with the cold!!!!!! Feeling all sorry for myself lol. I spent the day, while Lesley was at work, chilling and had a walk around her fabby complex. Sat by the pool for an hour and read my book, its so nice to be able to chill now after being on the go for so long. Lesley came home at night with lots of goodies for me bless her, she evern got me a get well soon card!!!! You dont find friends like that everyday!!!!!!

A fab chilled day by the pool, it was lovely. Had a wee swim and totally relaxed. Xavier came back form his trip, so was nice to finally meet him. Hes lovely. Me and Les are planning our trip to Universal and Disney next week, cant wait. Going to have a few nights up in Orlando.

Our Saturday night was lovely. We headed to Fat Tuesdays which is a famous bar in America, they do fab cocktails. I had a cocktail while we waited for our table at the Cheescake Factory, no they dont just serve cheesecake!!! The menu was incredible, I couldnt decide what I wanted!! After finally making up my mind I had the most amazing meal ever, was stuffed afterwards!!! Sunday me and Les headed to the cinema after enjoying Xaviers home cooking!! We went to see Confessions of a shopaholic!!

Going to get a well deserved pedicure as my feet have been throught the wars, might even through in a manicure too, after all would just be so wrong for my toes and finger nails to be mis matching!!!

Enjoyed more chilled days. Tried to catch some sun when I could be bothered, too much hard work now haha. Seen a bit more of the sights. Xavier and Lesley wanted me to decide what we did for our last night, I was happy to stay in with food and drinks!! Ooh I got so ill on Baileys!!! Had a fab night, we ordered in a feast of chinese food. Going for a colonic irrigation today to start my returning home detox hahaha. Cant believe il be heading home soon ahhhhh, scary!!!! Its been an amazing adventure, iv met lots of fab people, been reunited with people who I know class as great friends, seen lots of fantastic places and I have learnt to much. Roll on the next adventure!!!!
