Day 23 After all our cooking yesterday we were feeling pretty lazy so we decided to hop onto a tuk tuk then a taxi (songtheaw) and went to visit a famous temple in Chiang Mai situated high above the city calpled Wat Pra That Doi Suthep. (greetings in Thailand) Today we booked a full day Thai cooking class on an organic farm just outside Chiang Mai (lonely planet recommended) Our cooking teacher nicknamed 'Cookie' picked us up from our guesthouse and we loaded into the back of a songtheauw taxi (sort of like a closed bakkie) and picked up the rest of our class. Day 20 Hopped on a local bus to Ayuthaya today or as they say in Thai 'Ayuthaaaayaaaaa' which used to be Thailands ancient capital and is littered with temple remains from so many years ago. Day 19 Arriving in Bangkok after an early morning Air Asia flight, was quite a relief to be honest, as much as we both enjoyed Vietnam the countryside was stunning, it was nice to be back in Thailand and the people are alot friendlier and the weather is warmer!
