Hola familia!

Okay so while that pic that goes with this entry is really pretty and all, its actually from Salta in the north of Argentina - theres no pics from Bs.As for some reason??

So on a bright note, both Amiee and I are alive and kicking :) yipppeeee!

Today we had a lazy sleep-in (why not?? it's Monday!) and then took the bus out to La Boca to visit what i would imagine to be one of Buenos Aires' most visited tourist attractions - Caminito aka the colourful houses! I've been there quite a few times but its still always cool to see and always a laugh fending of the tourist hungry restauranters trying to entice you in! I pre-warned Amiee but I think it was still a bit of a shock! teehee!

Made my first souvenir purchase today of a tiny little picture in a frame at Caminito - very cute indeed!

Highlight of the day must have been finding a shop dedicated to GNOMES! WTF??? it was very bizarre and when we went in i actually got nervy because i thought a gnome was going to jump down from the roof and attack... :D needless to say, no purchases were made.

We have bought our tix to head up to Iguazu Falls tomorrow - exciting! Its such a incredible place and I'm really looking forward to it! will definitely be nice to be out of the madness that is buenos aires and see some nature! and maybe get a tan :D we're planning to go on the boat underneath the falls which i didnt do last time so im EXCIIITEEDD!

errrrmmm..... what else to tell?? oooh, i had a wonderful catch up last night with some friends from here and their 2yo daughter who is just delightful :) was wonderful to see them!
