So we're not done with our day in Vegas, but I'm not going to have internet until later this week. We slept in this morning and it was fantastic! Then we ate lunch at the super fun and fancy hotel Top of the World at our hotel. It is near the top of the tower and it turns while we ate. We had an appetizer, main course, and dessert, and wine! We made it to Vegas! We left at about 9:30 am yesterday and rode for about 5 1/2 hours. Nothing too eventful on the drive. Just lots of pretty sites. We got to drive over the Hoover Dam. One the way over to Grand Canyon, we will stop at Hoover Dam. Once in Vegas, we checked into our hotel, the Stratosphere. It's fantastic! Our room is great. The swimming pool is very cool. So we decided to have two lazy days. Yesterday we went to church in the morning. That was very nice. Welke's pastor thought that we were sisters. LoL For lunch we had Papa Murphy's pizza. Then went shopping. We then came back and swam for a while! Super fun, but nothing really else to write about during that time. We then went to a mountain to climb for sunset. The main reason for this entry is to put in pictures of where Welke lives. It's very cute and right across the street from school, so very handy. There is a pool for her use and she gets a covered parking space.

So the plan was that we would wake up at 6:00 am to hike up a mountain in the early morning. But when we woke up, we vetoed that idea. One because we were all still tired and didn't want to get up that early. And two because there was a heat advisory warning and we didn't feel like dying.
