Day 1.
-At Kuala Lumpur airport, had no Malaysian dollars so may have paid more than necessary but at least the rate isn't terrible!
-After an hr at immigration at Denpasar airport, Guy at the airport taxi desk tried to shortchange me. How dare he?! Like I wouldn't notice!
-Forgot to bring the address for my hotel so had to quickly go roaming on my phone to get it. Fail.
-hotel is amazing! Staff are all amazing! Complimentary welcome lemon Sweet green tea. the hotel and surrounding river and paddy fielda are Seriously so beautiful, even in the rain. Checked the weather forecast for this week - cloudy, possible storms. :( this will make the trip somewhat interesting.
There are drinking water dispensers in the hotel which saves me having to lug bottles of water from the supermarket which is handy as well.
-went to dinner at a restaurant 2mins away from the hotel. People were super nice, hostess was surprised I was on my own - expected but meal was pretty good. A bit salty but really good service and overall yum. Didn't finish it though as I was so full - they gave complimentary lemon tea with chia seeds (really sweet but nice) and crackers.
-looking at the transfers that the hotel offers to see Balinese dances. They leave at 7.00-8.00 - is this evening or night?! Probably night but no pm or 24hr formatting is very confusing.

I haven't taken any photos yet as I've been so tired and hot. It's very humid here and the forecast of rain doesn't look too good. Fingers crossed the forecast of rainy weather for the whole week is reduced to overnight only? Haha!
