Worst day of my life. So I tried to check in online for Air New Zealand and it couldn't complete because I didn't have a return ticket. So I had to book one of those at $650.i spent the rest of the morning cleaning the house only to accidentally lock myself out when taking out the rubbish. Me and the neighbour tried taking off the door but no success. I rang a locksmith who took about 20 mins to get to the house and charged me $110 for 2 mins work. All this happened half an hour before the bus I had to catch to the airport left. ANYWAY. I managed to get a later bus and am now on my way to the airport. So far today I have spent $860. OUCH.
The bad luck didn't stop there I'm afraid ,I managed to get to the bus on time but was 4 mins late getting to the bus that takes you from domestic terminal to international. By the time I got into the airport the plane was boarding... Luckily I flew through customs and security and got to the gate with time to spare. I'll be glad when this day is over
