Well. What can I say about today. So last night we headed for a camp site just south of Carnarvon called new beach. The camp site itself was quite busy so we followed the mangroves along a track. We found a site and pitched up for the night. This morning we went to leAve and discovered water over the track we cAme in on. The tide had come right up. Headed into Carnarvon today! Walked the 1 mile pier (which is a bit of a death trap) travelled back north 60ks to see the blow holes. Where the ocean pushes water up through the rocks to a height of 20 meters in rough seas. We then went to explore a lighthouse on the cliff. The door was open so we want inside.... Probably slightly illegal but nobody saw us. Apart from another older guy who came up and did exactly the same thing

Tried to find a camping spot in Dampier but had no luck so we went looking in Karratha. We stumbled upon a mangrove beach. As the tide went out a thin layer of water remained on the sand flats which gave the impression you are walking on water

Today I left the farm to head down the coast a bit. I got lost for an hour in a forest. I made it to a caravan site at peaceful bay. Today was the first time I cooked in the camper :) I spent the afternoon giving it a good clean and getting rid of some of the red dust inside.i then decided to rent some DVDs only to realise i did not have a cd drive on my laptop, luckily the woman laughed and gave me a refund.

First day working on the farm. Pretty much met all the farm crew and the other relies I've never even heard of. Got to round up the cows on the quads. That was great fun!
