Fraser Island is the worlds largest sand island with an abundance of rainforest, streams and fresh water lakes (like lake Mackenzie in the picture) surrounded by more silica sand which I brushed my teeth with again. To get around the island we were driven in a 4x4 bus as there are no hard roads only sand roads. It was like riding a roller coaster. Later in the afternoon we visited a ship wreck on the beach and floated down the creek on an inner tube. On the western side of the island is 75 mile beach which is used as a road with normal road rules, every now and again you will have to pull over to let a plane land on the beah also
