Cianjur 8th - 12th June 2015 We heard about this place from Steph and Dom. A small city West of Bandung which offers a volunteer in schools programme to teach English. After quite a few plane journeys I think this landing made me feel the most uneasy! As we descended back down to planet earth the pilot barely even slowed the plane down coming in extremely fast and smashing down on to the run way! After what felt like a lifetime of breaking the plane finally slowed down to a sensible speed where we were allowed off and to plant our feet back onto solid ground! I can see why Lion Air have one of the worst aviation safety ratings!...

Waisek Festival - 2nd June 2015 One of the main reasons we came to Yogyakarta is for the Waisek Festival. Celebrating the Buddhas birthday, enlightenment and death which occurred on the same day - the 5th day of the lunar calendar (2nd June 2015). Straight after the mountain we were transported to Senggigi, feeling slightly broken after our trek but feeling pretty accomplished.
