This is a message for cbs - I've just heard from Paddy (tennis organiser) and find that I am up against your mum in both the ladies and mixed doubles. Could you invent some particularly worrying pieces of info that I can hit her with just before we play in order to even things up a bit on the psychological front? It would be a GREAT help. Thanx. K
Jo's Mum
Hiya, I had my hair cut today (doesn't quite add up to the excitement level you guys are experiencing but thought you might like to hear the ... highlights ... of my life). Jo, do you remember Andrew who used to cut your hair in Oxford sometimes? He's definitely been forced to move downmarket since your departure - he was reduced to cutting the hair of Prince Harry's girlfriend the other day ..... hit all the gossip columns apparently. He'd much rather see you I'm sure! Thought you might need a piece of news to vaguely compete with cbs being model-spotted.xx

You are making us so jealous - especially as it's rained here all day. Your sisters want to know if the 'model spotter' had a white stick! Thank you for the tea - we actually managed a cup this p.m., as the package was intercepted by Echo and had the spiky teeth treatment first - it was, however, delicious. Nana is still here and not very well, but the plus point is that your father is developing his culinary skills with tasty little morsels to tempt her. Don't chat to too many surfers Lots of love xxxx
p.s. Please can you smuggle a koala back in your luggage for Cress? (Just off to farm in pouring rain)

Hi Jo, how were the Blue Mountains? I guess today is the day you set off on the bus - good luck with all your plans. I'm pleased to see that Auntie Terri has only sent you GOOD advice!! I'm waiting in for the RAC to arrive to mend the rear windscreen on your (and Amy's) car. Whilst Tom and I were off with his friends at the paintballing centre on Monday, one of the horses escaped from the field, galloped through the garden and must have kicked up some gravel which shattered the window - Tom and I have had great fun sifting the gravel for bits of broken glass so that Sasha and Cleo don't shred their paws. You miss all the action. Shame it wasn't my car - I need a new rear windscreen heater! (I had great fun trying to explain all of that to my Spanish class yesterday - in Spanish - there doesn't seem to be a word for paintballing ....)

Hi girls,
Hope you are having better luck with Ian & cheryl's e-mail - let us know, and I will find a phone number if necessary.
Back at work after Easter break, and it is hard to get up early. Dad and I off for a meal tonight, as we have been married for 20 years today- seems a long time since the autumn wedding in Kings Park, Perth! I think we should get an honour from the queen - perhaps if I had paid the Labour party a few million...
I didn't know that Alex Stewart's mum was Charlotte's auntie - it is a small world, as you are no doubt finding out, now that you have travelled half way round it.
Best wishes for a fun time travelling up the coast.
Lots of love

Auntie Terri (Us)
Hiya Jo....have been dropping in on you to see where you are. Am of course, so jealous. You must try and get to Byron Bay its half way up the coast between Sydney and Brisbane; as I said before I was there in 1986 and it is a blast. Sure it has grown but great beach and surfing town with great nightlife. I stayed in a hostel until I was invited to stay on the beach in a beach house and be the cook (little did they know I couldn't cook) anyway I caught the bus up from Sydney and just walked into town and went from there. I talked to your mum and said that i would check my old five year diary (!!!) apparently I didn't enter too much info for Oz so can't supply you with names - and she was keen on me editing any info, not sure why? Anyway sure I have an ex-boyfriend floating around up there - also in Sydney where I lived on Tamarama Beach (between Bondi and Bronte Beach) spelling from memory. Try it out you will love it.
Move in 4weeks to Coronado in San Diego - wanted you to know we are renting house steps from Beach so you have to come visit. lots of hugs. Anti T.

You all sound to be having a super time. We've had a good Easter with Auntie Mary and Uncle Jim and Thame Country Show was great fun. We enjoyed watching the sheepdog rounding up the ducks but as soon as he separated the white ones from the brown ones and got them in the pen, they all bobbed under the fence and he had to start all over again! Some lovely Shire horses pulling logs and there was a dressage team all riding side-saddle, making it look so easy - wonderful! Then they let dogs into the arena to chase the 'rabbit' which was absolute chaos! Mike liked the owl and falcon display best and Uncle Jim stroked every dog he saw! Enjoy Sydney. Lots of love, Mike and Sally xxx

G'day girls,
Hope you have a wonderful time in Sydney. Manly ferry is fun to go on. Are you going to climb the bridge?
Anyway, we have just got back from a lovely weekend in Dorset and granny, grandpa and the Elsworth's send their love. Take lots of photos even if you don't manage to get them on here. I'm sure with all of your charm and good looks you can convince some Aussie surfie IT guy to show you how.
How we laughed at Claire as a dodgy guide - keep an eye on her - she still gets lost in Cornmarket Street!
Love from us all x xx
