Hello! Just in Kathmandu, arrived yesterday and have been scoping out the Thamel area of the city, tourist central but brilliant. Had dinner with our trekking crew tonight who are all lovely, turns out one of the girls on the trek lives 5 minutes away from cj! Small world and all that. Hello again, We have made it to Chitwan National Park after the most incredible rafting adventure! Two days down the Seti river from Pokhara to Chitwan with a wonderful man called Lama and his crew. The monsoon meant the river was a little more crazy than anticipated and it was awesome. Hello everyone, we made it to Pokhara this morning after the most hilarious bus ride. Sat at the back of a bus for 12 hours with neon lighting, poles for pole dancing and an excellent selection of locals... We were told 8 hours and 'best quality'. Apparently not. Hello again, We have been in Pushkar for the last few days, just north of Ajmer. Stayed in an interesting hotel with very enthusiastic proprieters who showed us a few sights, our favourite being the temple on top of a slightly challenging hill with the most incredible sunset views of the city.
