Jennifer I absolutely love the blogs! We just talked about how we should have kept a journal! Reading over yours just reinds us how much we really went through and have already forgotten--at first thought! Now I see what and why you used few minutes of any opportunity in hostels, trains, etc. :) I'll miss you!!!!!! :S
Ruben Hey Charlotte!! Always a pleasure to read your blogs, its so awesome that you are enjoying your time in Kenya. I kind of envy the temperature, we came back to more cold and snow :/ Hope all is well. bisous

re: Lyon, Francegia hey charlotte, what a wonderful comprehensive post. i'm really interested in your honors thesis topic and argument so when you start working on that, if you're interested in having an eye, i have two that would be overjoyed to take a look. the field research you're doing is invaluable and you document it really well. i really feel that i am with you when i read your writing and have images in my head without trying. i really feel your energy and the feelings that these experiences conjure for you. i'm sure it's all terribly joyful and hilariously terrifying all at once, every minute. glad to know what you're up to, and also excited to hear that you plan to go back to kenya in january! if you're there for a while, maybe i (and mourra) could come visit you. all the best, gia
re: Nairobi, Kenyagia hey charlotte, this is a wonderful post, thanks for writing it. i know that when you are traveling or living in new places it's really difficult to get yourself to really chronicle the events that happen. it all sounds really overwhelming and intense but also like a tremendous and changing and impactful experience. i'm sure it has and will continue to change you a lot. i found it wonderful to imagine what you are doing and everything you see, and can't wait for whenever the next time is that our paths cross and i can hear the inflection in your voice and the bright in your eyes as you recount these wonderful stories. it all must be very surreal and braving. stay strong and healthy :) with much love gia
re: Nairobi, Kenyamichelle Loved the description of your day Charlotte - sounds VERY exhausting. xx oo mm
re: Nairobi, KenyaSharon Fisher Well - our phone conversations didn't give me such a good picture of your days. You must be sooo tired at the end of each day. Bloody good work though! Sharon.
re: Nairobi, KenyaCharlotte Hi Gia, thanks that's a great tip about the art auctions. The girls were at my childrren's home, and the children's home is still their legal guardian, but I'm organising and paying for them to school to boarding school.
re: Nairobi, Kenya- last visited
