Not a particularly interesting trip this one. Flew into mount Isa and Pat (One of Oscar Bell's uni mates who I had met previously) and I have a few nights out on the town in Mount Isa... interesting experience, especially when we were drinking with all his cop mates. Had one of the local bikie club members buy our table a bottle of pink champagne... free booze (We are assuming he was trying to take the piss but it was still free booze). Not alot to report from this section of my trip. Had a few days in Darwin hanging out with Jeffro and then slowly made my way down to Mount isa. On the way I stopped at a camp site behind a truck stop and had dinner and a few beers with some rough around the edges pipeline maintenance guys... They had some interesting stories to tell.
