So this will have to be a rather quick update as im sure most of you will have managed to catch up with Mum & Dad or Granny & Grandpa before now.

Anyway... for those who havent...

On the 18th June I flew into Broome and was met at the airport by Mum and Dad. We went to pick up my car and then headed to meet granny and Grandpa. (M&D and G&G were in Hilux utes with a caravan instead of a tray).

We headed north from Broome after finishing the shopping etc.

We stayed the first night in a place called birdsville downs just outside Derby.

The next morning we headed into Derby to have a look around and so I could buy a tool to change my oil filter.

The second night we stayed at windjana gorge a few hundred kilometers down the Gibb River Road.

The morning was spent walking through the gorge and then we packed up and headed east.

The third night was spent at Manning gorge (Not a particularly interesting entrance, just an old truck stop) but a beautiful waterfall once you walked/swam through the gorge.

I think there was another night in between here but I cant remember where it was.

Stayed the night at Drysdale station.

Flights over the mitchell falls and northern kimberly region from drysdale. amazing countryside.

Stayed the night at a station (Name i have forgotten) west of Kununnurra.

Stayed in Kunnunnurra.

Drove around exploring Ord River Dam and Irrigation region

Stayed in Katherine Gorge.

M&D and I paddled up the Katherine gorge... amazing views.

I drove up to Darwin and flew out while M&D and G&G headed to Kakadu

Sorry this is so brief but I am sitting in the airport trying to remember it all and its not coming to me right now (It has been a long week in Kakadu/Litchfield)
