Jen Pat (mum) We went on the elephant trip today and my bum really really hurts. it was amazing tho! Yeah im going to def come home on the thur, charlie is dropping me early on. Then im heading back down on the saturday for the party. Im back then monday day, staying all week til the friday. Then im at charlies for the weekend and back home til i go back to uni, thinking around the 20th whenever is good for dad. So that way i have a few weeks in all at home. Charlie /Jen Hellloo.... We are now in Chaing Mai. After a relatively stress free journey, flights are farrrr better. The scenery here is far nicer, no pervy men...jus hills, and lush wildlife. the place we're sataying in is a lil haven. its got birds everywhere that say hello, godbye and sawadeecar! Cute lil libraries, tea tables in the garden. kittens and fish and so so many preety flowers! Our room is also so cute and is called tub tim, after a flower app! hehe. The people here are friendlier and its less stress....we were bad and went shopping again today...its so easily done when a top cost u 2 squid! and because as you may know we are now back on the 30th july!! Thailand is beautiful, we have been to quite a few places we loved and a few we didnt so much but after 6 weeks / 1 and a half months we think we have exhausted it! We booked two trips and we cant wait for them. one on friday which is elephant trekking, rafting, ox cart riding, hill tribe viewing and flower gardenbs. the other is on sunday and is to chaing rai which will be a long day but well worth it we hope, also going to the golden triangl3 that day which will be good to see. other days are mostly spent eating....which is something we miss greatly.....cant wait for some good old english nosh! Not to mention some box action, thanks for the update nic maybe theres a job in that area for you huh?! Also nic, i'll (jen) givre u a text when i get home let you know what im planning to do with mum and dad maybe off for the weekend. nic Hey you guys I was going to come on and post this yesterday but then i completely ran out of time in my increasingly exciting and fully packed life (I had to pick nat up and take her to a doctors appointment!!), and now i've just heard the news about you guys returning so there isnt really much point to this soap catch up post which you asked for, but i'll do it anyway!! Right im just going to write whats in the magazine because i can't remember anything. I'm a bit lost about whats actually happening in neighbours because i missed it for 2 weeks away over there and then wimbeldon came on so it was off for another 2 weeks so i'll have to leave that one out! So lets start with hollyoaks, this is what the t.v guide says: frustrated by Kath and Mikes interference, amy announces that she's leahs mum infront of a shocked josh. nancy and jake finally admit their feelings for each other. Jacqui moves into tonys flat ( she's also just found out that shes pregnant with his child and he doesnt seem to want it). the wedding between mercedes and russ and tina and dom went ahead, louise tried to spoil it though by bursting into the church saying mercedes had slept with warren, but she denyed it and tina backed her up saying sh'd been with her all night (liar). Eastenders: well firstly the exciting story line of wellard being dog napped ( i think thats the only story they can do to give micky and Gus some lines) erm well its the wedding between stella and Phil this week and stella is stepping up her game on ben. Him and Abi tried to run away this week because abi thought tanya was hurting lauren like stella was hurting ben but they werre caught and brought back home! but apparently stella digs her nails into bens chest on the day of the wedding and then phil sees the blood and goes mental, and then some how stella falls off the roof. im not too sure whats happening here as it hasnt happened yet so i'll have to get back to you on this!! Anyway not much is happening with the others and ive already written an essay, as you've probably guessed im still jobless but jo got back off holiday yesterday so hopefully will be back at the weekend so i can go out at last!Me and nat are off to see Harry Potter and i might actually get a look in with the popcorn this time which will be even better!! Charlie/Jen Helllo again, So what have we been up to....? hmmm.... We went to Koh Samui for a few days after dropping nic off. Its a beautiful little island...we stayed near Bo Phut. We hired a scooter for the day...more successful than the jeep dare we say. It was pink too!!!! hehe. We drove into Chaweng...its a nice lil town with lots of bars and restaurants. However jen managed to pick up an injury......trapping her toe in the door. clever...! We were sleeping in a 400 baht a night room with a s***e fan. slept all of 2 hours a night. Then we got the hellish bus ride to bangkok where we got a flat tyre on the way and were delayed for two hours adding to our already mamoth tour. Arriving to find jens bag had been infested with lice...nice...we grabbed the nearest taxi and headed for the comfort of pattaya! 2 hours and a death ride later we arrived...tired and stresssed to find a giant sized praying mantis thingy waiting for us on the box which provided all the electricity for the flat......after fighting about who was going to kill...them! .....(they were the size of our armz by the way) i decided that i would thro my flip flop at it. .....ok....embarrasing part comes now....they were in fact.......fridge magnets....oh yes.....my bad.....! The flat is gorgeous and as dad and mum said the night market which runs outside for three nights is blooody amazing!!! spent far too much....and on all you kids at home too! only slight scare we had was when one lil witch managed to wriggle her way into jens bag and almost rob her.....needless to say we headed in after that. jen swiftly battered the old dear breaking her shoe in the process!! smoooth.( we now refer to this woman as 'the troll') The beach is an hour walk away but we often get the baht bus as we are lazy and its bloody hot. oh my word we've had a mini cyclone too. sat bout to have some food by the beach in a restaurant and the rain starts coming down...then the trees fall down (on the women from the restraurant car) hahahahahaha.....i mena....bless....shame. we thought we might die. so we trekked home...or tried to. got on a baht bus...he took us to completely the wrong place so we hopped off and walked the nearly two hours home.we went to the tiger zooo which was amazing if amazingly cruel. the animals were random and the woman took no time or trouble to inform us that many of the 10,000 crocs they had there were headed straight for either penis soup or to become some old dears handbag...nice! we are off to see the tiffany show tonight....trannys dancing and singing in some show so im told....again....nice...but entertaining all the same! oh and we went to ko larn with nan our lil thai guide from next door yesterday, the beach was gorgeous but the bloody boat trip does an arf make ya tummy gurglle!! Ok, ....so...Alex - mental.....brent singing.....we will you tube that bad boy....damn shame on the neighbours front...appauling. the tattoes are amazing you will love them. oh dont they wash off tho.....?damn it!!! we got u a present from the night market! think youlll bloody llove it. well done on the 2:1 you bloody lazy ghett! we miss you lots and are well excited bout next year already. Dad (Ian) Hi Charlotte, Well done both of you with your exam results. Now the difficult thing is to maintain/ improve on this for next year. We can see from the message board and pictures that you are having a great time. We are interested to know what you have bought us ( according to your text)! What are you plans over the next few weeks. What places are you going to see? and where exactly are you staying? What has the accommodation been so far? and what sort of places have you been eating at? Are there lots of English turists around? or are they from all around the world? As mentioned in my text message we finally booked our holiday (Dom Rep) we are all now looking forward to this. We all need a holiday! Amelea has just finished her dancing classes for this term. She did a performance at St Augustine school (next to your old school). She seems to be really enjoying this. Her school report was very good, so they are happy to keep her on for the next year!!!! Amelea came 2nd in her long jump at the school sports day. Martin has finished his football for the season. The teams tournament record was 43 games played, 33 games won, drew 10 and lost none. Not Bad!! His is now into his cricket and is playing every Friday night at Wycombe Cricket Club. They seem to spending most of their time here at home, on the trampoline. LOL!!!! Saw the family last weekend in Taunton. They all seem well incl. Granny. Kia is growing fast and Hannah and Lee are looking forward to their new house. Nic Hello Jennifah Lohan and Charlie (your names sounding a bit boring now compared to Jens!!) Just thought i'd write a little message as i'm sitting here searching for a job, yet another distraction!! Monday night was awesome, we ended up going to the colly with laz and all of her friends so it was a bit weird but you can't moan about 50p a drink night!! jo was completely wasted and spent all of Tuesday in bed, i was hangover free for a change although a bit tipsy on the actual night, probably from mixing every drink under the sun (jo's fault)!! The flight home was full of excitement, i only just made the Bangkok to Doha conncetion as my bag took a year to come off the place. and then i had the 9 hour wait in Doha.That was going fine until it got to 11pm and i thought it would be a brilliant idea to go and have a rest in the quiet room, where they announce no flights or anything! I think i was one of the last ones to board after falling asleep and only just waking up in time! The flight i got was one of the last ones of the night, but there were still tons of people snoring away in there so im guessing they'd all missed their flights home! Well done both of you for your marks, see all thar worrying for nothing, my results were waiting for me when i got up after monday night out, i dont think i've ever been so scared in my entire life before i opened them, actually it was probably on par with hanging over that cliff, but everything turned out fine!
