I spend one day in the sun and have the most patchiest burns you can possibly think of...but who am i to complain. It's scorching hot and clear blue skies! I feel sorry for you guys back in england!

Arrived at our hostel midday yesturday. We're sharing an 8 bed dorm consisting of 7 girls and an irish! he seems alryt though. Helped me find the toilet in the middle of the night as i was busting for a wee (: The hostel is pretty layed back and everyone is friendly and up for a laugh.

Lol, me and ruth attempted kayaking today. Almost killed me, quite literally. I was having a time out in the middle of the sea (as you do) when a whack off cruise boat comes straight for me. I was paddling for my life!

Getting the coach back to Auckland tomorrow...yippy ): I've decided auckland sucks. That day me and ruth tried to get to the museum was a nightmare. After being directed onto a random bus and missing our stop...twice. We ended up 300 yards down the road from the hotel we were staying at! And the museum was about boats?! The sky tower was a waste of 10 minutes too. Luckily we only have to stay there one more night as surf camp commences on monday :D
