Hello from panama!

so were as far south as were gonna get for the whole of our trip! we are really loving Bocas Del Toro, there is so much to see and do, and so many stunning beaches to chose from. Sorry cath, really gutted you couldn't have done this part with us, cos you would have loved it! So we first went from Cahuita in Costa Rica to Pueto Viejo (CR) where Cath and Charlie enjoyed three days of illness- just what we both wanted, and Kev endured three days of ill, moaning women (and he was bored stiff too!). Here we said goodbye to cath as she made her way to San jose to catch her flight, and we travelled to Panama.

We are based in Bocas Del Toro, one of a few islands off the coast of Panama. The first full day we had, we took a short boat ride to the nearby island, Bastimentos, and we planned to walk to the beach. little did Charlie know that, dressed in good hiking flip flops, the journey was through the jungle and through lots of mud! if you can't go over it, you cant go under it, then you have to go through it! lets just say she wasnt best pleased! however the journey was made so worth it when we arrived on stunning Wizard beach- completely deserted.

The next day we signed up for a cool snorkelling trip, in the hopes of seeing dolphins. the boat took us to a couple of snorkelling spots- but the visibility wasnt great. we also spend some time at red frog beach- you guessed it home to the poisenous red frog! but the highlight, by far was Dolphin Bay. we started by just seeing a few dolphins dart in and out of the water, but then the boat started in a big circle, and about four dolphins chased the boat and jumped in and out of the waves that the boat was making- it was incredible! a true highlight of the entire trip!

today we did two fun dives, which was pretty cool- didnt see any sharks though. was good fun just to be diving, and that brings our log book up to 8 dives in total now, so were pleased about that. hopefully off to a nearby island tomorrow, which is meant to be like paradise.

we will then head back into Costa Rica for two evenings, where we then fly out of San Jose on Sunday, back up to Cancun in mexico. we then have four days in mexico, and then we fly home!!!! will update agin for the last time in Mexico- now that feels really sad sying that!
