Wewere afflicted by a terrible dose of rain which insisted on following us down the coast, from Brisbane through Surfer's Paradise, to Byron Bay, forcing us to take shelter in numerous pubs and clubs along the way. Luckily the mpany was good and the craic out in full force. Good times were had by all. Sorry we can't go into more details but the weather really was against us and we did very little!!

After a horrific 13 hour night bus from Byron Bay to Sydney, upon arrival at a dump of a hostel, Clare fearfully discovered thye absence of her passport and quickly set about harrassing the lovely folk at arts factory, our previous hostel, where the offending article was last seen. After speaking with a plethora of rude staff, said passport was found and began its journey to sunny Melbourne. Great success!! Much relief was had when the reunion took place and Clare and passport have sworn never to be parted again!
