Oi amigos! Leaving Salvador, Rosita continued its journey along the coast to the north. Travel days are getting longer from time to time, due to Brazil's huge size. We rarely spend less than 13 hours on the truck. By now I'm in Salvador de Bahia, a town claiming to have the best carnival in the world. I don't need to comment this further, the only thing which happened in Bahia's capital was half of our group getting robbed and threatend with knives. Bad costumes guys, and not funny at all. Ahhh: the borders!!!! Did you know that Chileans and Argentinians love each other like the US everyone else? That crossing was the best till now: seeing a yellow truck coming from Argentina the Chili-Police couldn't resist. Result: Border-rape for 30 tourists. Since this dog was just trained for finding fruits and vegetables, we could pass through easily, in 8 hours and get to Santiago at 23:00, just to see every food source shut down before our eyes.
