Hey guys, so it was a rough start to this crazy trip. i was supposed to have an over night layover in ho chi minh, but i was not allowed to go on the flight b/c northwest did not tell me that since it was over night i had to have a special visa. for a while my options were to stay here in tokyo or go back to the states! after 4 hours at the airport, northwest finally was able to book me on a flight for ho chi minh to cambodia, same day layover so i wouldnt need a visa. they put me up in a hotel.. i got to order some great room service for breakfast.. it was nuts. i am now sitting at the tokyo airport about to begin the second leg of travel.. just to get there! hopefully today's travel will be much better than yesterdays... hope all is well!
