I woke up from the Eden hotel, yet again ready to go on another cultural adventure. I packed up my things and took a flight to Puerto Madryn, Argentina. Puerto Madryn is location on the east coast of Argentina, and is known for its sandy beaches.
I got off the plane and went straight into town to find a good restaurant. I found a nice restaurant right on the ocean. It was called Cantina El Nautico. I had salmon for lunch, which wasn't too bad, but it was pretty expensive. The best part about it was the view, so I wish the food was better.
I then went whale watching. I went on a boat with about 20 other people. The tour guide did an excellent job explaining everything about the whales and finding as many whales as possible. I then met a nice young man named Santiago. He and his family were all here on the tour too. He was very talkative. His wife was from the US, but he was from Argentina. They had twins who were about six months old. We were on the tour and watching for whales for about six hours. We saw about a dozen whales on the tour. That was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend it.
The tour was over, and I decided to call it a day. Santiago and his wife, Paz, invited me to stay at their house for the night. So, when we arrived, he showed me to the guest room, and I got ready for the night. The room was very colorful and filled with decorations. I then hopped into my bed, and fell asleep.
