First stop: Hanoi! After a long trip from Denmark to Hanoi, where I was starred at, I finally arrived in Hanoi airport.
It all started a little bad; my airport pickup was nowhere to be seen.. Thankfully I saw three girls, who also needed a ride to the centre.
When I got to the hostel the people who were working there were sound to me. They gave me a full refund and lots of apologies. Me dorm was quite nice with a big bed and nice people. I went up to the rooftop bar with an American girl from my dorm. There were a lot of kind and funny people. We went on a hostel-crawl and a club afterwards.
Next morning I went down and ate breakfast with a Dutch girl, Lisanne, who I met the night before. We went out sightseeing - wandering around in the old part of the city. There are so many exciting things to see! And the traffic is one big chaos, so every time you have to cross the road yore scared you'll die trying. There are so many nice street kitchens so we had to eat at one of those, and it was absolutely amazing! We also tried some of the famous egg-coffee and it was actually really good even though it sounds really weird.
Lisanne helped me organise my trip to Sa Pa, so we could go together. It will be so much fun! I'm really looking forward to that! To
That evening Lisanne, an English guy and I went down by the lake to get some fresh air and just talk. In no time we were surrounded by a lot of Vietnamese people who wanted to practice their English. It was so much fun, and they were so kind. Next day I met to new Dutch girls, Ezra and Emma. We went to a place called the friendship village. It's a place for war veterans and children who have been affected by the war can live and get the help they need. It was really exciting to meet so many exciting people. After that the girls and I went out to eat. I got pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup. It was so good.
Yesterday I went on a free walking tour around the town. It was nice to know some of the history of the city. After that the girls and I went shopping at the local marked. They have so many beautiful things! Later I went to the national museum of history. It was really interesting. In the evening I organised my trip to HaLong Bay. I'm really excited about it!
Today I'm leaving for Sa Pa ins the evening. It going to be so beautiful and exciting!
