Thursday 3rd March – Had a drive to Mandurah today, lovely place, how much more it had developed since last time is unbelievable. Looked at all the posh apartments around the Little Venice area. Dream........ Had a walk around the river, still very hot at 38 degrees, I don’t know what the weather forecast is doing forecasting 32 when it clearly isn’t. Reached 39 again today. How much better places look when there aren’t lots of people around, peaceful and tranquil? Had a coffee and pot of tea in a small coffee house near the marina shops and took the stroll back towards the car and a slight detour for lunch in an Irish ‘Murphys’ bar near town. Took a short hour to drive back. Everyone came round in the evening and we all shared a few Pizzas’ from The Hut! Took a picture of the distant view of Perth from up the road. Sean turned up later and finished off the cold pizza, yummmmm....... nice to see him when he looks so knackered from all the socializing he is doing, kids heh!! Judy and Barry gave us some pictures to take back today of the QM and QE, sweet memories....
