We left Delhi on Singapore Airlines which was probably one of the best nights accomodation we had had during our stay in India! We arrived early in the morning to what seemed like a different world or planet. We left Munar which was quite sad as i loved it there (think i really do say this about everywhere i have been apart from the house boat; i was glad to get off that), i had eaten the hottist curry in the world in Munar which made my nose and eyes run, my ears pop and also made me go very dizzy. I put the dizziness down to altitude but have now read in one of the guide books that you can get a 'chilli high' so from now on i'm going to ask for hot curries i think!...

We stayed in the lovely holiday resort of Kovalam for one week, we had to stay an extra day due to a strike on all public transport, it was against the price of oil charges rising. Kovalam was nice and relaxing but i started to get a little bored in the evenings, most things closed at 11pm. It was a nice break though.
