Hi everyone and welcome to my travel diary!

I only have one sleep left before I start my BIG adventure. Time really does fly. I remember starting the "sleeps left" countdown in January and thinking the 4th of August 2010 will never arrive. And much to my pleasure here it is.....well almost. My room is in semi-organised chaos and the backpack is nowhere near packed but I am amped to get going! First flight is from New Plymouth to Wellington tomorrow at 12.30pm. I'll hopefully get to have lunch with my lovely sis Anney and then at 4.30pm Steph and I depart Wellington for Auckland, where we'll board the BIG ONE at 8pm for Vancouver!!! Whoooohoooo!!! Can't wait to see you Nikki!! Next blog will come to you from Canada in the Northern hemisphere and SUMMER!
