Yesterday i walked round the shopping area and around the Gothic quarters where there were loads more beautiful cathedrals and buildings to admire. I had lunch at Isabels and then in the evening Isabel gave me a tour of Gracia and Passeig de Gracia where we stopped to look at Casa Amatller, Casa Batllo and Casa Mila (La Pedrera).

This morning i made my way to the famous Sagrada Familia to see more of Gaudi's amazing work and it is absolutely amazing. I took lots of video and pictures (that are in the photos section) but you really have to see this place for yourself.

In the afternoon i was again invited to Isabel's for lunch to experience more of the Spanish hospitality and great cooking! The conversation was still bizarre but i have picked a few more Spanish words.

Today was a special day in Spain, it is St George's Day where people give roses or books to their partners and La Rambla was packed full of people. Also it was Barcelona vs Real Madrid in the Football unfortunately Real Madrid won 2-0 so there was not much celebration.

On my last evening we visited Isabels friends and went to a Gelateria to have a very delicious hot chocolate with loads of cream and cakes - it was very naughty but sooooooo yummy! But we walked it off after as Isabel showed me round the Gothic Quarters and some other places nearby and found lots of trendy bars and galleries. So to finish off the unforgettable holiday we had few drinks in a very nice bar called s:pic!

I had the most wonderful time in Barcelona
