Got here yesterday evening, took a quick wander round town. I am staying in Palace Backpackers which has a bar in the basement called the Down Under Bar. I checked out the place last night and it looked like it could be a laugh but i was too tired and went to bed after an hour or so.

Today I want to South Bank Parklands which was very pretty and even has a man made beach. I walked all the way round by the river to Kangaroo Point and then got the ferry back into town. I did a bit of shopping in the afternoon...spent too much as usual and went to City Hall Art Gallery.

The weather here is hot and sunny in the day, a bit cold at night but at last i have a warm hostel to stay in!
