Back in Mexico City! I sometimes wandered if i would ever make it back here to catch my flight, but i have, with a day spare to wander round and buy some Mezcal. Can't believe my trip has ended it doesn't feel like a year has gone past - i have had an absolutely awesome time! Hi Guys Well i think i am done with those long bus journeys the 12 hr trip from Belize was my last long stint on those crappy buses so i have come to Tulum to rest for a few days. There is a small Mayan site here which is pretty cool with the ocean as a backdrop, been staying in cabanas but there are too hot! I have a very relaxing time here just hanging out on the beach, lounging in hammocks and going for walks along the beach, i wish it could it could last...

I made it to the caribbean man! Just chilling out and taking it easy...well i wish! I decided not to stay in Belize city but instead go over to the island of Caye Caulker - its a tiny island but pretty nice with a lovely ocean breeze. Belize is a bit more expensive then Mexico and Guatemala but its nice that they speak English and you notice you are in the Carribean straight away. Not much else to say except..dont worry be happy! xxCat

Hey Guys Got up at 5.30am today to go to Tikal and avoid the heat in the afternoon. The site was amazing and being set in the jungle there was an abundance of wildlife, i saw monkeys, birds and all sorts of strange insects. The heat is quite unbearable at times, the buses and hostels arent airconditioned we do have a pretty good fan though and it can cool off at night.
