G'day Everyone,

How are we all? Enjoying the cold weather? Well its getting hot, hot here woo hoo & the tan is slowly but surely developing! So Melbourne is brill. It's completly different to Syndey (obviously different city) but it's more cultural & the people are really friendly!

I arrived last Wednesday & i caught up with my friend Nick from ym travels in Asia that night for dinner. Thursday i hungout in this really cool bar (not all of the day) in the city with a girl Michelle from my room, also travelling 'billy no mates'. Friday Nick took myself and another friend from Asia Gary on a raod trip, down to Phillip Island, to watch the penguins return to land at dusk. This was a really cool experience, very peaceful & it was nice to see them interact in their own environment (though there was about 500 people watching)

Saturday we headed to the beach...the boys went in for a swim but the water was too cold for me. That night we went to watch a few bands play & Nicks band played too. Sunday I hung out with Nick & his pals, which was really nice...two aussie BBQ's yummy food!

Over the weekend i actually had my own room as i stayed at Nicks parents house. It was so nice to be in a real bed, with no other people in the room luxury! His mum Judy even put my washing on & ironed my clothes- top lady! Today i hung out with her in the city, as she was my tour guide!

At 7am i am off on a 3day ttrip of the Great Ocean Road- i am so excited! Then at the weekend I am off to the Merdith music festival with Jessie & Nick (+ loads of Nicks friends)

Can't believe Christmas is getting close...everyone done their shopping? I have a few bits to buy...sent a package home last weekend to the nephews (missing them loads!). I am looking forward to it but its not going to feel like Christmas as i'll be on a houseboat, swimming & eating BBQ food woo hoo!
