Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas & best wishes for 2009!
So I spent Christmas on the Clyde River, on Bateman's Bay with Jessie & her family. It was a lovely day but it really didn't feel like Christmas. I opened all my presents from home before we headed down to the boat. Got some lovely bits and lots of Chocolate & sweets...thank you!
We drove down to the house boat and it had to be brought into the shore so Grandma Rosaleen to get on. I had to go to the shop to find some whipped cream, as my attempted of whipping some cream went horribly wrong on Christmas eve, for the fruit flan!
The sun was shinning so i was able to get into my bikini & sit in the sun, catching some rays. For christmas dinner we had shrimps to start, then steak & sausages & a number of salads for our main. It was such a tasty dinner...& we had left overs for tea in the evening!
I went out in the tinny with Jessie & her dad Paul to tour around the place we were staying for the night. I even took control of the mini boat...which was cool!
That evening we watched a few dvd's on the boat...Love Actually and had a chilled pleasant evening!
On Boxing Day Jessie & I travelled to a few beaches down the south coast & a little town called Mogo, which was very quaint & full of character. I drove Jessie's parents Smart car home, which was cool as i hadn't driven since August.
So just over 2weeks left in Oz...back up to Sydney on Wednesday for New Years. Off to see the Kooks on Monday 5th, so excited. Going to Alice Springs on 7th Jan for 6days. There i am taking a trip to Uluru & Kings Canyon. Return back to Sydney & then fly out on 15 to New Zealand!
Happy new year wishes everyone, may all your dreams come true in 2009!
Love Cat
