We got in to Venice early Wednesday morning and had to take a boat to our hostel since there are no cars in Venice! Once again it took us a long time to find our hostel and this time it was due to the lack of street signs in Venice!We stayed in a Bed and Breakfast but it definitely wasn't what I had in mind.We had to cancel our first night because we decided to stay in Munich longer than originally planned so when we checked in the woman tried to charge us for both nights.It was a big mess because she didn't speak any English but we eventually got it worked out and we didn't have to pay for the night that we cancelled.Hannah and I took showers and got ready while the boys walked around the city.The first thing we did was take a gondola ride through the canals of Venice!It was only half an hour ride but it was so much fun!We floated past Marco Polo's house, Casanova's house, and Mozart's house.Most of the day we walked around the town and ate gelato.That night we went to a concert in the Opera House.We actually thought we were going to an Opera but since we soon found out it was a classical concert.The musicians wore old Victorian style clothing and wigs so it made it really fun!
