We left Prague at 9:00AM and got to Munich around 4:00.I really wanted to see Neuschwanstein Castle so I booked our hostel while we were on the train so that when we got the Munich we wouldn't have to search for a hostel. The Castle was in a town called Fussen, a 2 hour train ride from Munich. It was already 4:00 when we got in to Munich so after dropping our things off at the Euro Youth Hostel, we hopped back on the train.By the time we got there it was dark and we weren't allowed to go in the castle, but we really wouldn't have had anytime to do that anyway because the last train left Fussen 45 minutes after we got there! It was really cool to see, but I would have loved to get closer to it.The train ride back made all of us pretty sleepy so we ended up just hanging out in our hostel and using the internet.

The next morning we woke up to snow!We were planning on taking a Bike Tour through Munich because my Let's Go book told me that if we only had 1 day in Munich that was the thing to do!We were already semi sick of tours by this time so we ended up just taking a bus tour because it was way too cold to ride a bike or walk! The bus tour was alright but I would prefer a walking tour over a busy tour any day!It was set up so we could get off at any of the stops we wanted and then we would just hop on another bus to the next location. We got off at Nymphenburg Palace, Olympia Park, and the Glockenspiel clock. We ate at the Hofbrauhaus for lunch and the entire time Greg and Eric were plotting how to get a mug out of the beer hall.We heard that it was near impossible to steal a mug from the Hofbrauhaus so that was the only thing Greg really wanted to do the entire day. They were successful at it so that was all Hannah and I heard about for the entire day. That night we took an overnight train to Venice.
