Tuesday 10 February Swansea - Barnbougle

Cool and cloudy 20

We left Swansea at 9.30 and travelled up the coast to St Helens hoping to get a game of golf. We stopped for coffee at a coffee shop and then went to the golf course but the Seniors were playing and being just a 9 hole course there was no tee times available. We then went through to Scottsdale but when we arrived at the course it was crowded with players teeing off so we decided to head straight for Barnbougle. When we arrived Dad and Chris got a 9 holes at the Dunes holes 1 – 9 and a taste of what the course had to offer. I had a sleep for a couple of hours. I then walked down the 9th hole and found them playing up towards me. Dad had played well scoring 21 points but was not impressed with the buggy he had to push up the hills – Chris had a nice warm up for tomorrow.
