Things have changed since I last wrote; I am now teaching at a Catholic school in Kitwe, 12 hours North of Livingstone. Ivor, who is the country co-ordinator in Zambia for Love Volunteers and was showing me round and keeping me company in Livingstone, has had to go back home to Kitwe in Copperbelt, Zambia for his other job. I spoke to soon the other day; yesterday showed me why they call it the rainy season here. All morning it rained constantly. My flip flops and feet were covered in mud by the time I got to the Orphanage and my lovely raincoat made it's first appearance. Hi All So I have started at the Orphanage now and I absolutely love it! The children are so sweet, I teach the 4-11 year olds, the rest are in school fulltime. My favourites are the little ones; Abigail, Jennipher and Debbora. They loved the bubbles I brought so much that they had used all three bottles in one lunch hour. Yesterday was such an amazing day! In the morning I went with Ivor (from Love Volunteers) and the Pastor to one of the Church programmes out in the countryside where they have created a safe environment for children who have been abused or mistreated to play, keeping them off the streets and out of danger.
