We left Vancouver on Thursday to head to Whistler, we picked up the car but had a little difficulty as they have a law that from Oct 1 to April you need winter tyres or carry snow chains or they can turn you around and not let you on the roads. But the car company's don't allow snow chains on there vehicles and don't have winter tyres. We arrived in Vancouver on Sunday we made our way to our hotel dropped off our bags then headed out to explore in the lovely rain. We went to Yaletown it's an old warehouse area which has been converted into lots of restaraunts and coffee shops. We had a brief look around in the rain then headed on the train out of the city to a shopping mall we bought two carry on suit cases, which we are now starting to need and we thought it would be cheaper then sending stuff...

Today we spent most of the day on the ship, we arrived at Victoria at 6.30pm a little late as the weather was not great overnight and the sea was very rough so they had to go slower. When we got out of the ship in Victoria it was raining and was getting dark so we didn't get to do much we walked into downtown had a look around then headed back. Tonight we watched a few comedian shows and went to bed late now ready for a early start tomorrow to disembark.

Today we arrived in kitchikan, this palace is one of the wettest on earth. It was cloudy and very cold it is one of the biggest towns we have been to we spent the 6 hours there looking around the town at the lake where there were lots and lots and lots of salmon swimming around and also seals it was very interesting to watch. What a day, today we sailed through beautiful glacier bay. We started the day with some breakfast and got to see a whale we then went to the deck outside where it was really cold and watched the beautiful scenery as we sailed past a small glacier we continued down the bay to another big glacier there were little icebergs every where.
