We had two full days in lake louise it is a very very small town we went out to lake louise and walked to the top of the lake you can't walk around it because of the mountain. It was overcast but still very pretty so many tourists here, the lake had not started to ice over yet. We also went to lake Morraine also very pretty it was really busy and cold so we sat and looked at the lake. The next day was so beautiful not a cloud in the sky so we Decided to go back to lake louise and Morraine, lake Morraine had started to ice over and it was fun throwing rocks hehe, we walked to the top of the lake it was freezing but really fun.
Yesterday we left and headed to banff along the Bow valley trail and stopped at Johnstones canyon it was 1.1 km to he bottom of the canyon and 2.7km to the top. It was a nice walk a few hills and beautiful scenery it took us about 2 hours and we also sat at the top for a little while. We arrived in banff and went to Norquay ski field there was no snow yet, we stopped at a view point near there for a picnic again it was freezing but we had a nice view of banff. I forgot mention this morning it was -5, this is something where not use to in Brisbane.
Today we spent the day in town looking around it was raining and we could not believe how low the clouds where and how much snow we had overnight, where we were sitting yesterday for our picnic there was snow, but none in town. ( hopefully tomorrow)
