The flight - it was an 11 hour "Long Haul" with 8 hrs of time zone difference added on. So I decided not to sleep. Talked to the Media Managment guy next to me about crazy travel doco's (I've got more practice to go) and some other random stuff. Ate everything feverishly, apart from the watermelon and orange slices. I may have been eating pretty mundane food for 2 months, but I'm not that desperate.
Customs - lost the Biltang (Safa dried meat... yummy) and the flickknife, even though it wasn't in my cabin luggage this time. Didn't loost the carving I swapped for my mobile phone (no boreres!), nor the suspiscious smelling Ebony (??) Chillum (Smoking pipe I bought in Malawi... you fill the gaps in). Did have to get my shoes cleaned. Serves me right for carrying Mud from god knows where in my boots for the last couple months.
So... Sydney. First place in the world where I haven't had to pay rediculous ammounts for airport transfers to my accomodation. It was actually free! Althought, when I walked into the TV lounge to make some new friends, my "G'day!" was met by one grunt between the two guys - one a quiet yet psycho looking Asian guy, and the other a brooding goth with silly Fantasy looking black boots on (and a black jacket, black jeans, black hair, black personalitly). Both were watching a Discovery Channel doco on how serial killers used to use Cyanide and that liquid that they put on hankies then smother you with, to kill people. They were glued to it. I left quickly, yet politely.
So... where to from here? Don't know. Body wants rest. Brain is going "Nope... wierd things have happened...(time travel apparently) must stay awake and alert!".
Oooh... sleep I think will win. I've eaten tonnes on the plane. Goodnight... I think?
