disaster strikes!

i'm trying to chronicle every moment of this trip, and boy has it started off crazy!

bill lost his passport somehow. he was packing yesterday and it has disappeared off the face of the earth. we think it may have gotten thrown out somehow. so, we scrambled and made phone calls and were frantically thinking of alternative plans last night. and he was able to contact the passport people, report it lost, and explain the dire situation. they told him to wait for a phone call, and hope for the best.

this morning he got the call, and has to be in boston by 10am. then he should be able to get a new passport in time for the flight this evening. we'll both be able to get there together and do everything the way it was supposed to work out. i'll head to the airport this afternoon and meet up with him there. then we'll be on our way!

everyone cross your fingers and pray!

what a way to start.... hopefully this isn't a sign of what's to come.....

p.s.- i'm not really in winchester yet, obviously. but that's where my posts are set up to be from. :)
