Right, well Cairns wasnt very exciting. But my Atherton Tablelands tour was pretty good! got quite afew photos of that to upload. Reminded me of a tropical mid-wales, it rained as much and the hills were nice and pretty in the misty clouds. I'm just having a look at google earth and got abit weirded out by seeing the old house in cardiff, the only place i could think that might have street view! Now ive got distracted looking at houses in cardiff... which isnt really relevant as they'll all be gone when i get back, but nice to see what's availiable i guess. So Mission Beach has absolutley nothing, and the supermarket and petrol station are both closed today anyway. Tomorrow i go to Dunk Island, 4km offshore, which i can see already, and im going to sit on the beach and do nothing for 2 days. My knee is abit sore so i think climbing the big hill isnt really sounding great anyway, but i'll see how i feel. Need to get some good books in ready for that i think. Then afew more bus journeys etc and ill be on my way to Brisbane... which im looking forward to going to the belgium beer cafe but thats about all i'll be doing i think. NZ seems kinda strange and unknown right now, i just plan to find out everything when i get there as apparently tourist info are very good there. Cant really think of much to write... bumped into someone in Cairns who i did a wine tour with, she's got some work there... but we were both busy so didnt talk for long. Cant remember her name at all... getting rather worried about my memory. I kinda wish i could enjoy easter rather than just being annoyed at everything is closed all the time and that makes everything very boring.
