Today we planned an early get up so we could spend some time in York before driving into Scotland to Edinburgh. After a hot shower (finally!) and some breaky, we packed up our home and drove into York. After some driving around looking for a park suitable for a 7.2m long vehicle, we started walking around and being tourists again.
York was a beautiful city with a lot of old buildings and ruins to look at (castles, churches, walls etc.). After driving to look at York Minster (another beautiful old building) and ending up in a dead end street, we did a 5 point turn and headed for Edinburgh.
We're still not quite sure where the satnav took us, but it certainly didn't keep us on the freeway! We saw a lot more beautiful scenery and some quaint little towns, so we're glad we didn't stick to the main roads all day.
Arrived at the park just on dark, refilled our water tank and emptied our grey water tank, found our pitch (a bit harder now we're in a park with more than 4 pitches!), setup our home and had bangers, mash, veggies, a margarita and a rum and coke on the table in under an hour! We're getting good at this s***!
