So, Florence was incredibly fun! We saw some great museums, ate delicious food and gelato (my favorite, who's surprised...), had a blast dancing at night, and had some fun adventures!
We just arrived in Padua today (near Venice) from Rome. That was a fun city, although completely different from Florence. Travelling throughout the city was a little more difficult simply because it was so huge. We toured the Roman Forum, Colisseum (sp?), Capitoline Museum, Borghese Museum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and some great shopping districts! Yesterday Katie Rogovin and I unavoidably got in the middle of the earlier portion of the anti-American protests held at the Plaza del Repubblica in Rome yesterday...that made us quite nervous, but we made it just fine!
Tomorrow we're all boarding a bus to Venice at 8am to go to Ca Rezzonico, Academia, and the Peggy Guggenheim Museums. It's going to be a pretty heavy art day, but I'm looking forward to seeing those places and taking a water taxi! Check for more pictures!
