Very windy today but still managed to get a bit of fishing in. 25 to 30 knots from the south west meant fishing was restricted to inside the Ningaloo Reef. Finally got the boat in the water today. Very windy, 12 to 17 knots but inside the reef at Coral Bay is very protected. After being ably assisted by Hanno at the new boat ramp south of Coral Bay, Carol and I headed out on what felt a bit like our maiden voyage. We had a late start to our drive to Warroora Station from Carnarvon. Stocked up with groceries, bait etc so didn't get going till about lunch time. We travelled through very desolate country with hardly a tree to be seen on the way. While the Hannan's are swanning around on the Ningaloo Reef the Osbornes are stuck in Carnarvon, mangrove and mud flat central of WA. At least we managed to get a few jobs done. Carol even washed the boat. There's a first time for everything!
