After over 200mm of rain in about 36 hours the creek adjacent to our preferred ramp flooded and silted the double ramp almost beyond recognition. There are 200 tourists using this ramp to dive with the whale sharks daily to say nothing of the numerous charter boat operators, higher boats and joe average fisherman/tourists like us and yet the local council, a week after the floods, still hasn't made any effort to dredge the ramp. Very annoying!
