My flight itinerary would not allow me to skip this small town in the middle of nowhere. And so it was, that I had to spend one afternoon and one night here before a six hour coach transfer to the Ayers Rock Resort the next day. I didn't do a lot during my stay here, mainly because there is not a lot to do. The town is small and pretty much consists of one main street containing shops selling Aboriginal Art and Didgeridoos. I meandered along the street, steering clear of the drunk Aboringinees, to the Flying Doctors Museum. It was a lovely little place and very interesting to learn all about the service; they cover such a big area and so many tiny communities that simply cannot be reached by road, leaving air to be the only option. Although my stay was not for long, it was short and sweet, any longer I would have died of boredom, or the desert heat, I'm not sure which one would have hit me first!
