Day 23-Mykonos Kallee, Rob, Kate, Dave and I decided to go into the town of Mykonos this morning to do some exploring. Day 18/19- Athens An early departure from Rome allowed us to stop in Pompeii on our way to the southern coast of Italy. We took a guided tour of the ruins of ancient Pompeii which was covered in volcanic ash many many years ago(can't remember the exact date); it is one of the best preserved Roman towns in Italy! Day 16- Florence Things are getting hazy, as I havent written in my journal for a few days. This morning we heading into Florence for a leather making demo, then a walking tour by a local guide. Day 13.- France to Italy Almost two weeks have gone by! Heading to Italy, we drove along the coast, an absolutely breathtaking view. Mountains (still low enough there is no tree line) on one side with cities built up the mountains and nestled in the valleys, and coast line on the other. Day 11- >Antibes Most of the day today was spent driving from Barcelona back into France.
