Hello everyone, just a quick final update before we head back home next week. We finally made it to Goa and are having a really lovely time at Palolem beach. We arrived in Margao last Wednesday and headed to Benaulim where we spent a couple of days. We went to the Goan capital Panjim and had a look around the cathedrals and basilicas at Old Goa (portugese capital). It is really relaxed here compared to Kerala and the temperature is really pleasant. After another long train journey we spent the weekend at Hampi where we had fun looking around lots (and I mean lots) of temples and being blessed by elephants etc etc. We are now back in Goa and enjoying the pleasures of Palolem beach of which there are many. Its so chilled here, a cow walked into the restaurant we were eating in last night without anyone batting an eyelid! Fortunately Hanna has been able to take a break from her volunteering at Jyothis and join us for the week. We are staying on the beach in what can only be described as a shed on stilts, but is very cheap and really has a certain charm to it! Anyhoo, thanks so much for all your messages while we've been here and really looking forward to seeing you all soon.
