LOOK AT OUR PICYS!

Hi everyone! wev had a busy couple of days...we left phuket on sunday morning and travelled up to a little town called surat thani where we were meeting our group on monday morning. we travelled up by minibus about 4 hour journey which was really nice as we shared it with 3 ozzies and 2 californian dudes (mel you would have died) and we all got on v well. but then the tripp went down hill! we got dropped off in the middle of nowhere like a desert clearing of a road and we were told that we would be dropped at our hotel so thinkin that the driver was just stopping for a break we got quite confused wen he unloaded our baggage and bugerd off! but our transfer then turned up and foned us a taxi and we thort this rather odd-dont see why he couldnt take us into the town to our hotel. but we thort hey at least wer gonna get there.... then this taxi driver turned up and made me (carly) sit in the front he started going on about how he only likes white girls and not thai girls and wanted us to "party with him tonite yes" NO! altho i couldnt stop laughin i think it was nervous laughter we both thort we werent gona make it to our hotel, but of course we did! and the idiot really ripped us off with the taxi fare but we were just happy to have arrived!!

hotel wasnt all that (it was disgusting says lauren) but it was v cheap and a place to rest our weary heads. we were too tirewd to go and get dinner so we (WE? Lauren ordered room service coz carly woz toooo chicken says lauren) ordered room service and lauren thinks she ate dog burger-how will she ever look her puppy in the eyes again?!?!

it was an early start yesterday and we met our group at a breakfast place by the train station, everyones really nice and they had only had one day together before we arrived so we dont feel like complete outsiders! we got a songtheaw to the national park and our accommodation called morning mist is beautiful, wer literally sleeping in the middle of a jungle and we feel like princeses because our beds have these elaborate bug nets drapping over them (thank god!! theres so many lizards in our room and im so paranoid about a spider falling on me theyre the size of dinner plates out here!)

we went with half of the group to an elephant park where we had a ride on elephants through the jungle and stopped at waterfalls it was amazing! apart from a MASSIVE stick insect fell on me and i almost fell off the elephant.

we had a great dinner with the group and got to know everyone quite well, was really good everyone in high spirits great food cheap drink and an after party back at one of the huts altho we didnt stay too long we needed our bed!

today most of the group has gone on this organised tour into the national park but we and a couple of others have opted out as its a tad too expensive we wanna do our own thing, wer gona go to national park later and have a mossey round and wev also found a really nice stream we mite go and chill by with two other girls.

so yeah all in all wer looking forward to the next couple of weeks working our way down to singapore with the group, and tomorow we return to krabi WOOHOO!

oh yeah and family i dont have any signal in th middle of a jungle so i will probs get ur messages tmz and charles read ur emails and thanks for the useful tips dad and letting everyone know that im not very well :(

and wot can we say DOC B YOUR A LEGEND ur email cracked us up and we definately think you should go for the head position, but would he let u apply?!?
