Hi everyone! yes we have been travelling and we had a great last night in Krabi, we had dinner together and then we went to the highly recommended Luna Bar at about 10pm. And we loved it. It was like a little shack on the beach with coloured rope lights and fire sticks, and it had a terrace reaching onto the beach where you could sit under the stars. It was wonderful. We had some cocktails " Luna amazing" which we thought was appropriate and we had some free beer as that was the promotion of the night. At first it was really chilled out with relaxing music and then it got into rnb. We really didnt want to leave but we had to be up at 6 the next morning so we VERY unwillingly left and promised ourselves that we would one day return to the exact place. It was quite a distance from our hotel so we got a Krabi style tuk tuk which is basically a moped..with (instead of a carriage attached to it, where one person can sit, like on amotorbike) there was like 7 seats attachedto the side of it, it was small but it was wicked! I think we havesome pics which we will upload later! Anyway we had a really lovely time in Krabi and in Thailand and we were sad to leave it, we've had some good and some bad times but altogether they made a fantastic memory that we will never forget and we will definitely return!! The journey wasnt too bad, it was supposed to be 10 hours but i think it was 7.5 but we stopped quite alot at service stations (with long drops) and then for a while at the border where we had to be stamped out of Thailand and into Malaysia. We arrived at Penang and as we really didnt know what to expect we were quite surprised! our hotel is in chinatown and it is quite nice actually! AND it has air conditioning and 2 double beds which we are loving!! Carly had a bit of a cunundrum in an indian restaurant where we ate last night. The serving plates were huge and the tables were tiny with 16 of us crammed on them so there had to be an art of balancing the plates and not dropping them...in CARLYS CASE...the worst happened and just out of the blue, the plate flipped up into the air, did a summersault and landed down on her lap all over her mums new top and new skirt..and we are talking..hardcore staining here..6 different THICK and oily sauces, tandoori chicken and buttery garlic naan, oh there was laughter and oh how we were shocked it wasnt me!? (lauren) Despite George's (of george and dean) vanish stick and our detergent, the garments remained oiled and orange ( basically stained) and Carly is still fuming..and annoyed at herself that she decided at the last minute that she would slip the kaftan on, to prevent herself being groped, which is the apparent result of over exposure in Malaysia!! Carlys better but seeing as i dont eat indian food im ill, like weird ill as well..im getting stomach cramps and carly thinks im gonna have a baby, i keep wanting to vomit and i get soo nervous wen i dont know where the nearest toilet is. Mummy help me!! We leave Penang early tomorrow morning for an indecent journey of 6 hours to Cameron Highlands where APPARENTLY the temperature is 21 degrees...omg its gna be FREEZING!! so apart from my tum tum and carlys clothes..everythings fine..sad about leaving thailand but looking forward to the next few weeks!! byeee kisses x
