Well clearly we went into true vacation mode and stopped blogging altogether. We were simply doing too much relaxing, game playing, and lots of eating. We're up in the air right now and so far so good. Maggie refuses to do anything but listen to Abba on the iPod and look at the map on the screen, to see where our plane is. She's feeling pretty big I think. Ellie's a little antsy but not in a bad way - she's just switching from activity to activity frequently! Hopefully she's going to fall asleep soon...

We've had a seamless travel day so far! The girls act like they've done this all their lives. Of course we're not actually on the plane yet...

We've had a long day, getting ready to leave. The girls have been trapped in the house all day because it's 107 degrees outside. (Austin is currently having it's hottest summer on record). They're a little itchy, to say the least. Gary and I have spent the day figuring out how to pack four people for 2 weeks and 3 different climates, while also wrapping up work. *And* I seem to have pulled some sort of abdominal muscle. I think we're all ready for vacation.
